Announcing Jasveen Brar, Co-Executive Director!

On behalf of the Youth Climate Lab staff, Board of Directors and community, we’re excited to welcome Jasveen Brar as our new Co-Executive Director!

Jasveen is a climate educator with experience working in ocean conservation and polar policy. She has been named a Top 30 Environmental Educator by NAAEE, Top 25 Environmentalist by Starfish and holds a Sovereign's Medal for Volunteers from the Governor General of Canada. She also serves on the Governance board for the Canadian Ocean Literacy Council.

I have long admired the work and commitment to the planet that Dominique, Ana and the team have modelled and achieved on a global scale. I’m excited to bring my experience and viewpoint to YCL’s mission, and hope this new year offers new opportunities to tackle barriers that youth face accessing climate spaces.”
